KossakThe exhibition is devoted to conductors whose careers were connected with the Warsaw opera house and presents photographs and memorabilia held by the Theatre Museum and the Archive of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. Among them are Italian conductors who influenced opera in Warsaw: Cezar Trombini and Jan Quatrini; conductors-composers: Stanisław Moniuszko, Karol Kurpiński, Józef Elsner, Tomasz Nidecki, Emil Młynarski, Witold Lutosławski; and figures of European and global stature: Walerian Bierdiajew, Artur Rodziński, Henryk Czyż, Stefan Stuligrosz, Jan Krenz, and Kazimierz Kord.
