A Scarf for Chopin

Fryderyk Chopin’s monument in the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw has been decorated by the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera.

Chopin is known for his sartorial style and meticulous elegance. With that in mind the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera has prepared a special gift for him.

On 17 November Chopin’s monument at the Royal Łazienki Palace in Warsaw was given an unusual decorative touch in honour of the great composer – a scarf that was custom made at the workshops of the Teart Wielki.

The unconventional tribute comes as the Polish National Ballet prepares to stage a triple bill of ballets set to music by excellent composers, including Chopin. Chopiniana/Bolero/Chroma opens on 25 November at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. Don’t miss!
