From 15 to 23 November Warsaw will host a festival of Eastern European music of different epochs and styles. 

Artwork advertising the festivalThis year’s edition of the Eufonie festival, second in history, welcomes close to 640 artists from 20 countries, 8 orchestras, 15 concerts, 3 world premieres, 7 Polish premieres over just 9 days.  

The festival brings together different conventions, styles and music convntions: classical and electronic, traditional and experimental, contemporary and early music. Audiences will be treated to pieces by Polish and other Central European composers, including Arvo Part, Krzysztof Penderecki, Andrzej Panufnik, Witold Lutosławski, Wojciech Kilar, performed by world-class artists (D. Krakauer, G. Kremer, F. Tristano, J. Przybyłowicz, Synaesthesis, A. Strug, J. Frycz, NOSPR, Sokól Orchestra, I, CULTURE Orchestra, Pavel Haas Quartet, Collegium Musicale). 

The concerts take plece at the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, Royal Castle, Hybrydy Club, and Palladium Theatre. Organised by the National Centre for Culture and supported by the Polish Ministery of Culture and National Heritage.
