The orchestra of the Polish National Opera will be lead by Patrick Fourniller, an extremely talented and internationally recognized conductor. He has performed with the best ensembles, worked on the world’s most prestigious stages and now takes over this year as music director at the Teatr Wielki, Warsaw. He has been associated with Poland at least since 1987, when he won an award at the Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors in Katowice. Opera repertoire does not exhaust his interests. He has also conducted a recording of previously unpublished religious music by Verdi. An excellent conductor and an excellent orchestra guarantee of an excellent concert.
