One of the ordinary pleasures that gave such a genius as Ludwig van Beethoven consolation were out-of-town trips. All the pleasant feelings that awaken upon arrival in the countryside found their expression in Symphony No. 6 Pastoral. Let Ludwig take you for a walk in the countryside, by the brook. Let’s listen to the merry gathering of country people, the sound of the storm, the bird calls of the nightingale, the quail, and the cuckoo, and the shepherd’s song that ends our journey.
