PNB soloists to dance in Gdańsk and Bytom

Aleksandra Liashenko and Maksim Woitiul, first soloists of the Polish National Ballet, will perform at ballet galas in Gdańsk and Bytom.

One will mark the finale of the 19th Wojciech Wiesiołłowski Polish National Dance Competition held on 29 March by the Ballet School in Gdańsk at the Baltic Opera. Our artists will dance Kitri and Basilio’s pas de deux from Marius Petipa’s Don Quixote choreographed by Alexei Fadeyechev.

The second is the annual Ballet Gala marking the International Dance Day held on 29 April by the Ballet School in Bytom at the Silesian Opera. Maksim Woitiul will perform Prayer, while Aleksandra Liashenko will dance Ballad from Krzysztof Pastor’s Kurt Weill, followed by the impressive duet Grand pas classique by Victor Gsovsky to music by David Auber.
