A premiere from Compagnie Maguy Marin of Toulouse. The artists will meet the audience after the performance.

Held as part of the 2014 CROSSROADS festival.

The festival will open with a talk by prominent French choreographer Maguy Marin who is going to speak about her work with tha aid of recordings of her pieces. On the following day Compagnie Maguy Marin of Toulouse will perform BiT at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. This will be the first Polish presentation of the piece by Maguy Marin which debuted in September 2014 in Toulouse. The production reveals a collage of human behavours in which the rhythm of movement and interactins between six dancers play an important role. After the performance the artists will meet the audience. Founded in 1978, Compagnie Maguy Marin is France's leading contemporary dance company. Maguy Marin is recognised as a exceptional innovator that fuses dance, theatre, and visual art in her work. She has conceived and choreographed over 40 pieces shown in most European countries. Her performance at CROSSROADS this year is her second visit to Poland.
