Love Fear Loss

Inspired by interesting life and music of Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel, every pas de deux carries you through life experience of relations: love, loss and fear.

Divertissement of national choreography is the best act in the repertoire of Astana Ballet created by domestic and foreign choreographers. The divertissement makes an emphasis on contemporary Kazakh art of ballet, which reflects the dance trends and trends of today’s life. The program consists of fragments of one-act ballets Alem, Language of Love, choreographic miniatures Beauties, Scythian frescoes, the Kazakh dance Asem Konyr, Kuanamyn based on folk tunes and their modern adaptations, oriental classical and contemporary works . This program is largely associated with the art of the Silk Road, and it consistently shows the traces of folk theme.

Part II

Gaia

One act ballet Gaia is a colorful, vivid story of the Earth Planet, narrated by the language of contemporary choreography. Gaia embodies the Earth, which is composed of four elements: water, earth, fire and air. But there is another element, without which it is impossible to imagine the breath of the Earth – it is a forest. Each of the five elements is designed to sustain life on the planet. Together they are a unity and form the basis of Gaia – loving and strong, gentle and caring goddess of the Earth.

Part III

A Fuego lento

This story is about the first feelings of anxiety and excitement when learning the love, the desireburns slowly your body from the inside. Each world is concentrated in a beloved one and the meaning of life is love.
