Krystyna szostek-Radkowa

She had the opera world at her feet. She performed at the Vienna Opera, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Paris Opera, the Lyon Opera, Deutsche Staatsoper in Berlin, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Carnegie Hall, Théâtre Royal de La Monnaie in Brussels with which she enjoyed a ten-year collaboration, and the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera where she performed for forty years, not to mention the opera houses in Geneva, Madrid, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Lübeck, Kiev, Riga, Budapest and Bucharest. Her devotees admired her character, her easy-going, natural and brilliant performances, her versatile repertoire and the magnificent sound of her voice. Her strong, beautiful, clear, intense mezzo-soprano delighted everyone. Sixty years are passing since Krystyna Szostek-Radkowa's stage debut, but there are still few singers who can rival her.
