BMW Art Club 2018 is a unique show harnessing advanced technology to create visualisations of digitally processed landscapes that work with the structure of the music pieces making up the programme of the concert.
As a result of the digital revolution we have experienced, images presented in the media conjure up a reality that is alternative to real life and change our perception of the world around. BMW Art Club provides a commentary on the fascinating process, revealing its inner workings. Drawing inspiration from digital image processing, Witek Orski reflects on the nature of the world we live in.
The programme of the concert is a kaleidoscope of works by the greatest Polish contemporary composers: Krzysztof Penderecki, Witold Lutosławski, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, and Andrzej Panufnik. Inspiring admiration the world over, their trailblazing music continues to stimulate artists of other disciplines, including new media and video art.
