Voices Of The Mountains at Carnegie Hall
Guest performance in New York City
They say friends may meet, but the mountains never greet… For the ninth time the Polish National Opera has proved the old adage not to be true! At the heights of music during the concert such personalities as Jerzy Maksymiuk, Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka and Janusz Olejniczak will come together. The highland landscape folklore will be conveyed thanks to the music composed by Karol Szymanowski, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Wojciech Kilar. Everything will be further enriched by the modern sound of drum&bass and jazz, thanks to the presence of Jan Smoczyński, Atom String Quartet, Jan Młynarski, Michał Barański and the Neo String Quartet. On the 14th of November the artists will also scale the mountain of mountains – they will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York for the first time!
