Workshops accompanying the Władysław Hasior exhibition at the Opera Gallery

Performances

Władysław Hasior created extraordinary assemblages and sculptures, and mounted jaw-dropping shows featuring the pieces, fire, sounds, and people invited to join in the performance. One example are colourful processions with his famous banners – poetic objets d'art that fused sculpture and textile art – which brought to mind artistic protests. The workshops will encourage children to discuss the meaning of such processions, then make their own banners and march with them through the foyer of the opera house. 

The workshops start with a guided tour of the Władysław Hasior exhibition and are dedicated to chidlren aged 5–12. All the necessary supplies will be provided by the organisers.

Please note: The event is ticketed. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Please collect free caregiver passes to the event in the opera house lobby before the start of the workshops.
