The tenth edition of the largest Polish vocal competition falls on the Moniuszko Year – the bicentenary of the composer’s birth. The competition will have a unique setting this year and will become one of the most important international events of this jubilee. Established in 1992 by Maria Fołtyn, a great promoter of Stanisław Moniuszko’s music, today it occupies a high position in the catalogue of world-famous vocal competitions, each time attracting talented young singers from dozens of countries to Warsaw.
