BNB Junior's first ever artistic programme embraces pieces by Krzysztof Pastor, the director of the Polish National Ballet, and the company's emerging choreographers: Antonio Lanzo, Gianni Melfi, and Kristóf Szabó. The young performers will present a duet from Krzysztof Pastor's ballet Kurt Weill and a new piece he created especially for the occasion set to music by John Adams. The other choreographers are alumni of the PNB Choreographic Workshops and have successfully brought their works to our small stage in the past. The programme teems with youthful energy and subtle lyricism. It will be a delight for contemporary dance lovers.
