Fredro workshops and acting class
Workshops for children in Year 7 and 8 of primary school
Marking the Aleksander Fredro Jubilee Year, the Theatre Museum and the ART Foundation hold theatre workshops for primary school pupils. The workshops are are divided into three parts, the first being an introduction to the history of the Teatr Wielki, its operations, and the process of producing a show. This is followed by a presentation about Aleksander Fredro, his work and historical background with a particular focus on the societal changes observed at the time. In the final part is an acting class offering the participants a chance to stage fragments of Fredro's The Revange.
