Pastor. Cztery akty [Pastor: Four Acts] follows Krzysztof Pastor at work during four weeks of rehearsals for the choroegrapher's new ballet. Director Joanna Rechnio takes her audience on a dynamic journey deep into the world of dance, including places normally inaccesible to the public. Krzysztof Pastor allows the camera to tread his heals as he develops scenes, works with his dancers, faces the anxiety and tension brought on by the approaching opening night, and deals with the theatric machine.

The film is a four-part portrait presenting Krzysztof Pastor from four different angles. Thanks to the excellent work of the project's four cinematographers, Maciej Sobieraj, Michał Englert, Jacek Petrycki and Marek Dawid, each of the acts is visually distinct.
