VIVA SARI
Concert featuring prize-winners and finalists of the Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition
Named after Polish coloratura soprano, Ada Sari (born in 1886 as Jadwiga Szayer), the renowned competition takes place every two years since its founding in 1985. The competition has launched the careers of such artists as Piotr Beczała, Andrzej Dobber, Milijana Nikolić, Anna Simińska, Aleksandra Kubas-Kruk, Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, and Miriam Albano, among others. It is organized by the Malopolska Cultural Centre SOKÓŁ in Nowy Sącz.
The concert marks Ada Sari's birthday.
