This is a musical tale based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story. A tale told in songs. Whether you are a tiny Thumbelina or a towering Goliath, your dreams, ideas, need for closeness, being seen and appreciated are equally valid. Our emotions and experiences have no size. They are just as important to each of us, sometimes even overwhelming. This concert was created with the youngest audiences in mind but older opera-goers are also invited to embark on this fairy tale musical journey. After all, even as adults we sometimes can feel small. Every one of us is Thumbelina from time to time and would like to live in a nutshell... You will hear more about it from the amazing lineup of characters taking part in the show: Toad, Mole, Mouse, Swallow and Thumbelina herself.
