Opening Gala of Poland's Presidency of the EU Council

On 1 January 2025 Poland again takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and for the next six months will be responsible for the functioning of the EU Council as the first country of the trio made up of Poland, Denmark, and Cyprus.

Poland's six-month-long EU presidency is a great provilige and huge responsibility. The opening gala held at the Polish National Opera is an opportunity to highlight the role of culture as an instrument that connects nations and nurtures international cooperation.
