Opera Sound Hunters

Opera Sound Hunters is an educational game for children designed to help them get acquainted with the magical atmosphere of opera with the help of sounds produced by musical instruments and human voices. Playing children get to know that different musical instruments that make up a symphony orchestra and learn to distinguish between different human voices.
The game takes place at the Teatr Wielki, which helps children to get familiar with the equally enormous and beautiful space of the opera house. The fact that this happens in unusual circumstances helps to build a positive image of the institution.
The format of the game is based on learning through playing and first-hand experience, which boosts knowledge acquisition.
The aim of the game is to reach the ending point of the game completing a series of four tasks along the way. The tasks ale as follows: Tracing Sounds, Orchestral Memo, Human Voices, Where do Instruments Sleep?, We’re Assembling and Orchestra, Music During a Stage Performance.
Duration: approx. 60 minutes
Who may participate: Groups of up to 20 children aged 4–9; smaller groups may be merged by prior arrangement.
