Album Amicoru, or the friendship book
Workshops for children aged 7–12
Album Amicorum, or The Friendship Book is a workshop for children aged 7–12 held in conjunction with the exhibition devoted to Cesare Trombini, which opened at the Polish National Opera on 10 April 2025.
Cesare Trombini began his artistic career as an eleven-year-old violin prodigy. He quickly won the hearts of Italian music lovers, one of whom gave him a manuscript book where the young boy started to collect inscriptions from the musicians he met. The friendship book sheets contain entries from such big names as Verdi and Paganini and accompanied Trombini throughout his life. The participants of the workshops will be introduced to the story of Cesare Trombini and his unique 'album of friends'. They will then create their own friendship books.
