Christmas Workshops at the Theatre Museum
workshops for children
Come and join us on a journey to Christmases past as we explore the shows mounted by Polish theatres in the festive period. We will look at old-time costumes, set designs, props, and the most popular Christmas characters, led by the Nutckracker and Turoń. Ever wondered what theatre nativity plays looked like in the past or how did designers envision winter before our times? Come and find out! We will use the inspiration to make our own Christmas cards that you may gift to a loved one or keep as a festive decoration.
The workshop is led by Agnieszka Leśniak, Katarzyna Wodarska-Ogidel, Marta Zembrzuska-Kasprzak
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the whole duration of the workshop.
