The second volume of Conversations for the New Season is another proof that opera unites. For the second time round it brings together knowledgeable experts and affectionados of music: Ewa Łętowska and Krzysztof Pawłowski as well as Ewa Krasucka and Paweł Chynowski who talk this season's operatic and ballet programme of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. Their witty discussions brimming with cultural references and conducted in beautiful language are an excellent prelude to a visit at the Teatr Wielki.
An exhibition of memes devised especially for the book by acclaimed illustrator Marta Frej is on display in the opera house's lobby throughout the season, that is until 30 June 2017. These ironic, often humorous drawings complement the book in an excellent manner. The exhibition may be viewed during the box office's working hours.
