Born in 1995, Adrian Domarecki studied performance singing at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow and participated in the Opera Academy programme for the development of young talents at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
At the beginning of the 2022/2023 season, he became a soloist with Theater Magdeburg, where he sings Nemorino in Donizetti’s L'elisir d'amore, Pang in Puccini’s Turandot, Truffaldino in Prokofiev’s The Love of Three Oranges and more.
He made his professional debut at the Krakow Opera while still a student, portraying Cassio in Verdi's Otello. He has also performed at other Polish opera houses, including the Wrocław Opera, Grand Theatre in Łódź, and the Silesian Opera, as well as internationally, including at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
His repertoire includes roles such as Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Sir Edgardo di Ravenswood (Lucia di Lammermoor), Pang (Turandot), Cassio (Otello), and Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni).
The list of prizes he won includes First Prize and special awards at the Krystyna Jamroz Competition (2022), Second Prize and three special prizes at the Jan Kiepura International Vocal Competition (2021), International Iwona Borowicka Operetta Competition in Krakow (2020).
The artist has worked with such conductors as Sebastiano Rolli, Svetoslav Borisov, Bassem Akiki, Tomasz Tokarczyk, Adam Banaszak, and such directors as Michał Znaniecki, Jerzy Stuhr, James Bonas, and Julien Chavaz.
