He was born in Armenia. From 2012 to 2018, he studied at the State Music College “Arno Babajanyan” in Yerevan. He continued his studies at the Yerevan State Conservatory from 2018 to 2022.
He is a prize-winner of numerous international competitions, including: 1st prize at the Gohar Gasparyan Singing Competition, Bogossian Prize (formerly: RA President’s Prize), 3rd prize at the International Competition Opera Crown Tbilisi, 2nd prize at the Queen Sonja Singing Competition in Oslo, 5th prize at the Mirjam Helin Vocal Competition in Helsinki and 3rd prize and Audience Prize at the Stanislaw Moniuszko International Competition in Warsaw.
From 2022 to 2024, he was a member of the International Opera Studio at the Zurich Opera House, where he appeared in productions such as Tosca, Eliogabalo, Viva la Mamma!, Carmen, among others. His previous engagements include also concerts and opera performances at the Zurich Opera House, the Glyndebourne Festival, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden with the Berlin Philharmonic, the island of San Lazzaro in Venice, the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Yerevan, and the Teatro Politeama in Palermo.
He performed numerous roles, such as: Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Marcello (La Bohème), Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Silvio (I Pagliacci), Yeletsky (Pique Dame), the title role in Eugene Onegin, and Robert (Iolanta).
In addition, he has appeared in Mansurian’s Requiem at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan, Haladjian’s Missa de Lumine in Frankfurt, Fauré’s Requiemand 7 Prayers at the National Chamber Music Center in Yerevan, as well as Mansurian’s Hymnus Navapet at the Mendel Festival in Brno. Since the 2024/25 season, he has been an Ensemble soloist at the Oldenburg State Theatre, where he appears as Ottokar (Der Freischütz), Wiedehopf (Die Vögel), the Forester (Das schlaue Füchslein), and Germont (La Traviata), among others.
