Anna Wolfinger graduated from the Academy fo Music in Kraków, Poland and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, Germany.
Since 2012 she has been a soloist with the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, Białystok, Poland, where she has performed in J. Strauss’s The Bat (Adela), Bizet’s Carmen (Frasquita, Micäela), Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Papagena), Verdi’s La Traviata (Annina), Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera (Carlotta), Telemann’s Pimpinone (Vespetta), Bock’s Fiddler on the Roof (Hudel), Williams’s Korczak (Basia), Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor (Hanna). In March 2016 she made her debut at the Kraków Opera as Fiorilla in Rossini’s Il turco in Italia. Since December 2016 she can be seen at the Kraków Opera, singing Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale. She has also performed at the Kraków Chamber Opera (Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona and Livietta e Tracollo; Mozart's Die Schuldigkeit des Ersten Gebots). She has taken part in the world premiere of the oratorio Oto wierny sługa mój by Hubert Kowalski and Piotr Pałka.
Accolades include: Grand Prix of the Jan Kiepura International Vocal Competition in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland; Second Prize of the Polish National Vocal Competition in Mława, Poland; Second Prize of the Imrich Godin International Vocal Competition in Vràble, Slovakia; and Third Prize in the Złote Głosy Polish National Vocal Competition in Warsaw.
Ms Wolfinger took part in a range of music festivals, including Dramma per Musica – Festival of Baroque Operas, Warsaw; Festiwal Sztuk Dawnych – Imieniny Izabeli Branickiej and Rise of Eastern Culture / Another Dimension, Białystok, Poland; Cracovia Sacra, Kraków; Iubilaei Cantus, Nowy Sącz, Poland; Muzyka i Sacrum, Chrzanów-Kościelec, Poland; Wratislavia Cantans, Wrocław, Poland; Belcanto, Nałęczów, Poland.
