Bartosz Zyśk was born in 1988 in Siedlce, Poland. In 2001 he began his ballet training in the National Ballet School in Warsaw. In 2003, after two years of ballet training he won the third prize in Junior Division at the National Ballet Competition in Gdańsk, Poland. In 2007 he graduated and won the first prize in Senior Division at the National Ballet Competition in Gdańsk and also the Best Ballet School Graduate distinction at the National Ballet Competition in Szczecin, Poland. In the same year he was a contestant at the Prix de Lausanne. He continued his studies with Marika Besobrasova at the Académie de Dance Classique in Monte Carlo where he received a scholarship.
Bartosz Zyśk joined the Ballet of the Polish National Opera, currently the Polish National Ballet in 2007. In the same year he also started cooperating with Aleksandra Dziurosz's Warsaw Dance Theatre. He was promoted to Demi Soloist in 2010. He joins the Polish National Ballet on tours all around the world. He performed in Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman, Mariinsky Theatre, Sankt Petersburg, Russia, Teatro de la Maestranza, Sevilla, Spain, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona, Spain, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, China. And with Warsaw Dance Theatre he did a tournée in Japan. He also performs as a guest dancer. In 2015 Grand Théâtre de Genève with Guillerme Tell of Amir Hosseinpour.
Bartosz Zyśk also successfully completed his ballet pedagogue education this year at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (bachelor's degree).
Besides dancing he also works on his own choreographies. In 2016 he took part in the Polish National Ballet's Choreographic Workshops (VIII edition) with his piece Equilibrium set to music by Michał Jacaszek.
