Originally from Colleferro (Rome) Davide studied ballet and contemporary dance in Rome at the National Dance Academy. In 2002 he won a scholarship to study at the Cunningham Dance School in New York City. He danced for Company Wayne McGregor from 2010 until 2013. Between 2003 and 2016 he has worked across Europe as a dance artist with many established companies and choreographers such as: Thierry Smits/Cie THOR, Ballet Preljocaj, Itzik Galili-Krisztina DeChatel/Dansgroep Amsterdam, Andonis Foniadakis, Virgilio Sieni, Sasha Waltz and Guests amongst others.
As a choreographer he won the The International Choreographic Competition 2013 in Milan, was commissioned to create a work for the International Festival Invito alla Danza in 2014 in Rome and created a piece for the Italian National Dance Academy in 2016.
Davide is an international guest teacher working in several dance companies, universities and vocational dance programs worldwide. He continues his collaboration with McGregor as a re-stager of many of his works such as L’Anatomie de la Sensation for Paris Opera Ballet, Infra for Hessisches Staatsballett, Joffrey Ballet Chicago and Polish National Ballet, Entity and FAR for Ballet Junior de Genève, Milano Contemporary Ballet and Tisch School of the Arts-NYU and Woolf’s Works for Teatro alla Scala di Milano. As McGregor’s assistant he worked on the creation of Alea Sands for Paris Opera Ballet, on the West Kowloon Cultural District Residency in Hong Kong and on Inferno for The Royal Ballet.
