Filip Rutkowski is a graduate of the State School of Music in Mława (2019) and currently studies at the Poznań Academy of Music under Dr Jaromir Trafankowski.
He is a prizewinner of the Bogdan Paprocki Competition in Bydgoszcz, the Krystyna Jamroz Competition in Busko-Zdrój, the Zdzisław Skwara Competition in Mława, the Jan Kiepura Competition in Krynica-Zdrój, the Golden Voices Competition in Warsaw, the Duet Competition in Wrocław, and the Małopolska Music Competition in Kraków.
Rutkowski has performed with the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Lower Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra in Jelenia Góra. He also appeared at the 56th Jan Kiepura Festival in Krynica-Zdrój, the 29th International Krystyna Jamroz Music Festival in Busko-Zdrój, and the 7th Opera Festival in Zgorzelec.
In recognition of his artistic achievements he has received the Arts Award from the Marshal of the Mazovia Province, an academic scholarship from the Rector of the Poznań Academy of Music, the City of Poznań Arts Scholarship, the Maja Urbanek- Jaworowicz Scholarship, and a scholarship from the Mayor of Mława.
In the 2023/24 season he will debut as Figaro in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro at the Poznań Opera House and as Colline in Puccini’s La Bohème at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
