A British lighting designer, his work with Katie Mitchell includes Lessons in Love and Violence (Royal Opera House); Miranda (Opéra Comique); Jenufa (Nationale Opera & Ballet Amsterdam); Anatomy of a Suicide (Royal Court), The Maids (Toneelgroep, Amsterdam), Pelléas et Mélisande, Trauernacht, The House Taken Over and Alcina (Aix-en-Provence Festival), The Cherry Orchard (Young Vic), The Way Back Home (ENO), Alles Weitere kennen Sie aus dem Kino (Hamburg Schauspielhaus), and Le Vin herbé (Berlin State Opera). He has also designed lighting for productions at the NT, Donmar Warehouse, Young Vic, Royal Court, Lyric Hammersmith, Old Vic, Hampstead Theatre and for the RSC among others.
