A graduate of the Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Kraków (2005), Katarzyna Misiewicz-Żurek has played in numerous theatre productions, including Christmas at the Ivanovs by Alexander Vvedensky directed by Bogdan Hussakowski (2004), Das kalte Kind by Marius von Mayenburg directed by Jan Peszek (2005), From Poland with love by Paweł Demirski directed by Piotr Waligórski (2006), Closer by Patric Marber directed by Kuba Kowalski (2006), Lilla Weneda by Juliusz Słowacki directed by Wiktor Rubin (2007), For A Better World by Roland Schimmelpfennig directed by Thomas Harzem (2008), Ona i Ona after August Strindberg directed by Artur Urbański (2009), Philosophy in the Bedroom by Donatien Alphonse François de Sade directed B. Hussakowski (2010) as well as in the improvised performance Korek (Cork), The Wedding (Stanisław Wyspiański) and Na gorąco (written by Michał Zadara based on Billy Wilder's As Hot as It Gets) directed by Michał Zadara (2005, 2006, 2007). She also appeared in popular Polish TV series: Hotel 52, Listy do M, Na dobre i na złe, Samo życie, Doręczyciel, Na wspólnej, Wydział zabójstw, Teraz albo nigdy, and film études by students of the Łódź Film School and the directing department of the Silesian University. At the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera she creates the role of Supervisor/Capo in Weinberg's The Passenger.
