Leslie trained at the Wimbledon School of Art. His work encompasses opera, theatre and dance. Leslie designed Aldeburgh’s Britten Anniversary production, Grimes on the Beach, which won Best Britten Anniversary Production at the International Opera Awards 2014, for which Leslie was also nominated Best Designer. His work on the production was exhibited at the British Society of Theatre Designers exhibition Prague Quadrennial 2015 and V&A 2015.
