Born in 1995 in Belarus, Mikita Iłinczyk studied theatre directing at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow. He made his debut as director and dramaturge in 2021 with an adaptation of Jonathan Littell's The Kindly Ones at the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. In 2021 he won the Aurora Dramatic Prize in Bydgoszcz, Poland for the play Dark Room. In 2022 he made his Polish debut as director and dramaturge with F***ing in Brussels at the Polski in Bydgoszcz, where he is a resident artist now.
He is the dramaturge on Wojciech Faruga's production of Maria de Buenos Aires at the Polish National Opera.
