Mikołaj Molenda devises video installations and video projections for opera and theatre productions. He studied architecture and urban design at the University of Fine Arts in Poznań and the Poznań University of Technology. He has worked with Boris Kudlička, Zbigniew Preisner, Keith Warner, Mariusz Treliński, and Jacques Lassalle. In 2009 he joined the WWAA architecture studio, where he was involved in the design of the award-winning Polish Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo (2010). In 2011 he co-founded an interdisciplinary design studio Bridge, whose portfolio includes projects commissioned by the European Space Agency, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, BMW, the National Bank of Poland, and the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. Tapping into his expertise in architecture, augmented reality, and 3D technology led him to set up Tylko, a startup that revolutionises the furniture industry.
