Paweł Czekała studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University, Warsaw under Professor Kazimierz Pustelak and completed his artistic internship woth Professor Artur Stefanowicz. He regularly works with Olga Pasichnyk. He has also participated in master classes led by Professor Ryszard Karczykowski, Jan Van Elsacker, Kaja Wessel, Rudolf Piernay, Izabela Kłosińska, Maja Nosowska. and Olga Pasiechnyk.
He has perfomed at the Polish National Opera, Teatr Collegium Nobilium, Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Hall, Warsaw Chamber Opera, Opera Nova, Wrocław Opera, at the Gdańsk International Music Festival, and on Polish Radio.
Opera repertoire includes Germin in Tchaikovsky's Onegin, Il Commendatore in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Seneka in Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea, Garibaldo in Handel's Rodelinda, Quince w Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Bartłomiej in Stefani's A Miracle, or Cracovians and Highlanders, Prospero in Purcell's The Tempest.
In concert he often performs Mozart's Requiem, Coronation Mass, and Mass in C minor; Haydn's Stabat Mater; Rossini's Stabat Mater; Haydn's The Seven Last Words of Christ; and Bach's Cantatas.
He has sung under conductors such as Marta Kulczyńska, Rafał Janiak, Dariusz Zimnicki, Janusz Przybylski, Jacek Rogala, Jan Łukaszewski, Piotr Wajrak, Władysław Kłosiewicz, Marcin Nałęcz-Niesiołowski.
