Piotr Maciejowski studied vocal performance at the Poznań Academy of Music under Professor Wojciech Maciejowski. Currently, he is studying for his PhD at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, Warsaw under Professor Jerzy Knetig. From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the Opera Academy Young Talent Development Programme of the Polish National Opera. He has taken part in master classes led by Neil Schiccof, Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth, Izabela Kłosińska, Urszula Kryger, Jerzy Marchwiński, Gerd Uecker, and Sergiei Leiferkus.
A prizewinner of a number of Polish and international singing competitions, he has performed with the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, NOSPR, Wrocław Philharmonics, Poznań Philharmonics, Opole Philharmonics, and Sinfonia Varsovia. He has appeared on the stages of the Poznań Opera House, Polish National Opera, and Warsaw Chamber Opera, singing under Jerzy Maksymiuk, Przemysław Neumann, Gabriel Chmura, Kery-Lynn Wilson, Michał Klauza, Andriy Yurkevych, Piotr Staniszewski, Maciej Wieloch, Patrick Fournillier, Grzegorz Nowak, Sylvain Cambreling, and Marcin Sompoliński.
Apart form opera, his repertoire includes Mozart’s Requiem, Litaniae Lauretanae, Mass in C Minor; Bach’s St John Passion; Haydn’s The Creation; Handel’s Messiah, Schubert’s Mass in G Major, and Penderecki’s Credo.
