Born in Serbia, Tijana Jovanović studied costume design at the Academy of Fashion and Design in Hamburg. She has displayed her work at shows in London, Paris, Belgrade, Hamburg, and Spain, where she designed jewellery for Chus Burés and film (Pedro Almodóvar). She has designed costumes for: Odcienie namiętności (Shades of Passion) choreographed by Jacek Tyski and Yaroslav Ivanenko (Opera na Zamku, Szczecin, Poland, 2013), Ngoma – tańczący słoń (Ngoma The Dancing Elephant) directed by Karol Urbański (Opera na Zamku, Szczecin, 2012), and A Midsummer Night's Dream choreographed by Karol Urbański (Opera Nova, Bydgoszcz, 2011). She also collaborated with Jack Tyski on Sny (Dreams) developed for the Kielce Dance Theatre (2009), Donna (Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, 2009), In Search of Colours (Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, 2010), and the educational programme Rytm (Rhythm) developed for the National Centre for Culture (2010).
