He has graduated the Academia in Maribor with the degree in Multimedia Production. Since 1996 he is the lighting master and designer at the Slovene National Theatre Maribor.
As lighting designer, he has participated in various contemporary and classical ballets, including Swan Lake (choreography by V. Litvinov), Terror (M. Urbanek), Sweet Suite (Meeting Maribor; D.Toulon), Paquita (production by I. Ivanova), Nychthemeron (S. Zurovac), Home (G. Zmavc), The Golden Age (Z. Markovic), La sacre du printemps (E. Clug), Rite of Spring (E. Clug), Faun (E. Clug), Stabat mater (E. Clug), Peer Gynt (E. Clug), Nanine's Songs (V. Turcu), Carmina Burana (E. Clug), Coppelia (E. Clug), Master and Margarita (E. Clug), Myth (G. Zmavc), Don Juan (E.Clug), and many other different events.
As a part of a team of choreographer Edward Clug, he has worked at the largest theatres and festivals throughout the world: Vienna State Opera, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival (USA), The Stars of the White Nights Festival in Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Festival of Firsts in Pittsburgh, Arts Festival in Singapore, Biarritz Festival in France, O Boticario di danza in Brazil, Dance Festival at the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, Sintra Festival in Portugal, Festival Des Arts de Saint-Sauveur (Canada), Seoul International Dance Festival (Korea), Milan’s Teatro Piccolo and Teatro alla Scala, Dance Open Festival in St. Petersburg, Latvian National Opera, NOVAT in Novosibirsk (Russia), Klaipeda Festival (Lithuania), Bolshoi Theatre (Moscow), Opera Zurich, Basel Opera, Capitole Toulouse, several cities in Germany, Hungary, Romania, Hong Kong, and toured the USA, Italy, the Netherlands, and the countries of former Yugoslavia.
As a lighting designer, he participated in the main state celebrations of the Slovenian Statehood Day at the Congress Square in Ljubljana in June 2014.
