In the 2025/26 season, the Polish National Ballet receives a boost of youthful energy embodied by the junior company, composed of recent ballet school graduates. PNB Junior begins its another year, supported by the Polish Ministry of Culture. Originated by
Krzysztof Pastor, Director of the Polish National Ballet, the project aims to bridge the gap between ballet school training and the demands of professional ballet companies. Our junior dancers, mainly alumni of Polish ballet schools, will be offered special coaching from PNB’s experienced artists and master classes led by international ballet masters. Over time, they will have the opportunity to join the PNB team or apply for engagement at other theatres.
PNB Junior started the season with a new roster. Joining Maja Augustyniak, Antonio Casti, Zuzanna Korytkowska, Kyle Lippoth, Antonio Modica, Aleksandra Pastuszka, Kajetan Stabeusz, and Klaudia Sarna are Mateusz Buszka from Warsaw Ballet School, Chiara Ferraioli from Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Klara Melerska from Gdansk Ballet School, and Illia Ponomarenko and Martyna Wrzesińska, both from Poznan Ballet School.
Former Principal Dancer Dawid Trzensimiech remains the coach and coordinator of PNB Junior. In his work, he is supported on a daily basis by Irina Wasilewska, as well as guest teachers, including Alan Land, Yannick Boquin, Natalia Hoffman, Christiana Stefanou, Huafang Zhang, and Davide di Pretoro.
