It has been 1000 days since Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022: 1000 days of suffering and unwavering resistance. We are full of admiration for the heroism of the Ukrainian nation as they fight to defend their Homeland. We stand firmly against the Russian aggression.
The Polish National Opera has been supporting Ukraine on the cultural front ever since the start of the full-scale invasion. It is our belief that art and music have the ability to lift people's spirtits in the most harrowing of circumstances. Today, we are proud to announce that in July 2025 the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra will return to our stage for the fourth consecutive year as a beacon of freedom, unity, and indomitable will to fight for dignity and independence.
