Dear Audience Members,
The Government Crisis Management Team has announced the details of its 100 days of solidarity scheme to fight Covid-19. The first phase of restrictions will last until 27 December 2020, during which time all cultural venues must remain closed to the public. Consequently, we are forced to cancel all performances scheduled until 29 December. We hope we will be able to welcome you back to our opera house in the New Year.
To fill the void left by live events, we are making our performances available to the public on the Internet. On 14 November 2020 we relaunched our online broadcasts with a stream of Casanova in Warsaw, which recorded 14,000 views. Soon, our VOD service, Oops, an error occurred! Code: 20241121121307eaad334b, will offer more internationally acclaimed productions. On 6 December we will celebrate Saint Nicholas Day with a special treat for our young audiences. A host of archive performances, videos, photographs and other content are now available for you to explore on our website and social media channels to mark 55 years since the reopening of our opera house after post-war reconstruction in November 1965.
Ticket refunds:
· If you have bought your ticket(s) online and paid for them through the PayU system, the refund will be made to the bank account used to make the original payment. You do not need to contact our Ticket Service to receive the refund. We ask for your patience, the refunds will be made successively. If you would like the refund to be made to a prepaid card, please submit the this form.
· If you have bought your ticket(s) at the physical box office, paying in cash or by card, please submit this form. The refund will be made to your bank account.
· If you have already exchanged a voucher for a ticket for any of the cancelled performances, you will be entitled to swap it for a ticket to any of our performances in the 2020/21 season.
