Each year the project yields new short-format ballet works choreographed by PBN dancers. Over the last decade, 31 young artists have take up the challenge, some on more than one occasion. In total, they treated the audience to as many as 90 pieces. Some have build successful choreographic careers, including: Robert Bondara, Jacek Tyski, George Williamson, Karol Urbański, Anna Hop, Eduard Bablidze, and Natalia Wojciechowska.
This year's Creations will welcome works from 13 young choreographers: Lorenzo Alberti, Michał Chróścielewski, Joanna Drabik, Anna Hop, Paweł Koncewoj, Antonio Lanzo, Gianni Melfi, Adam Myśliński, Rachael Vrbancic, Vladimir Yaroshenko, Bartosz Zyśk, and the duo of Théo Just and Demeter Kóbór. Responsibility for the production and staging of the pieces also lies with the dancers. They devise costumes, lighting, video projections, edit the programme brochure, and handle technical matters.
The finale of the workshop will take place at the Teatr Wielki's small stage (Młynarski Hall) on 15–17 March 2019. (pch)
