The Polish National Opera announces auditions for a First Clarinet full-time position in the Orchestra of the Polish National Opera.
The auditions will be held on 4 May 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Orchestra's rehearsal studio.
Application deadline: 30 March 2026

Round One
1. W.A. Mozart - Clarinet Concerto in A major KV 622, mov. 1 (exposition only)
2. G. Rossini - Introduction, Theme and Variations (introduction only)
Accompaniment is mandatory. Round One is double-blind.

Please apply by sending a scanned copy of your cover letter (signed by hand) in which you request to take part in the audition alongside your CV to orkiestra@teatrwielki.pl The documents should be in a pdf, doc or odt format. You will receive an email confirmation of the receipt of your application.
Overdue applications will not be processed.
Selected candidates will be invited to the audition by email on 4 April 2026.
The Polish National Opera's decisions concerning the audition process and candidate selection are final and cannot be appealed.
The Polish National Opera does not provide accompanists or reimburse the candidates' travel expenses.
The Polish National Opera reserves the right to change the audition date, format, requirements and order, as well as to call off or cancel the auditions without providing a reason.
