Held around the world for almost two decades, in Poland for five years. Last year’s result: 60 concerts, 1,000 performers and an audience of almost 37,000. This year everything revolves around American music: from classical giants, through film music, jazz, blues, all the way to musicals. Three days, from morning till night: short concerts, brilliant programmes, unique performers, a casual atmosphere. A brilliant idea. An event for absolutely everyone. It’s really hard to find an excuse not to take part in this madness.
The festival’s fifth edition will be devoted to 20th-century American music. It will feature works by American composers and pieces that European composers wrote as émigrés.
The festival organizers reserve the right to change the programme and performers.
Like previously, concert tickets are sold by the theatre’s box office and via our website starting on 1 September. Tickets are priced from PLN 7.00 to PLN 12.00.
Advanced ticket reservations are not available for the La folle journée de Varsovie concerts.
