In the course of its three days the festival will welcome close to 1000 performers and 60 concerts. The idea behind the annual event is to reach out to new, diverse audiences with the classic repertoire. This year its motif is Nature and its different representations in music.
The festival sees short concerts taking place at the same time in different locations: the Star Hall, the Sea Hall, the Moon Hall, the Forest Hall and the Sun Hall, to which admission is free. Over the three days, the Teatr Wielki's auditoriums, backstage, and the square in front of it will become a site of a seemingly impossible meeting of culture and nature. The audience will be offered a chance to listen to such masterpieces as Igor Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, Edvard Grieg's Morning from Peer Gynt, Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Suite from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, or Flower Waltz from the Russian's Nutcracker.
Tickets priced at 8, 12 and 15 zloty are available from our website.
Come and join in the fun!
