The production premiered in at the Savonlinna Opera Festival in 2013. Today it returns with all the undying power of Treliński's directing and the glamour of Boris Kudlička's set design.
The production will be shown on 20, 23, 25, 29 July and 1 August. The performances will be conducted by Lawrence Foster, currnet director of the Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra of Marseille. The leading roles will be sung by: Joyce El-Khoury / Mirella Bunoaica (Violetta), Ivan Magri / Jesus Garcia (Alfredo), and Elia Fabbian / Sebastian Catana (Giorgio).
