Maria Fołtyn's death anniversary

Today marks the second anniversary of Maria Fołtyn's death. She was a prominent figure of Polish opera: a singer, stage director, and promoter of Stanisław Moniuszko's music and Polish vocal hritage. She founded and was a long-standing director of the International Moniuszko Vocal Competition.
