As of the 2015/16 season, this company is joined by soloist CHINARA ALIZADE, who is a graduate of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and has been a soloist of the Bolshoi in Moscow up until now. Other new arrivals are: PAULINA MAGIER, graduate of the Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak Ballet School in Gdańsk, Poland; NATALIA PASIUT, graduate of the Roman Turczynowicz Ballet School in Warsaw, lately a dancer of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, Poland; KIKI SAITO, Japan-born graduate of the Académie Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo; and RACHAEL ALEXANDRA VRBANCIC, American dancer of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal; as well as: JORDAN BAUTISTA, British dancer from Gibraltar, graduate of the English National Ballet School and RENATO DE LEON, American dancer coming to Warsaw from Houston Ballet II.
In recognition for their artistic accomplishments, Krzysztof Pastor, the PBN's director, promoted three existing members of the company to higher positions: coryphée ROBIN KENT became a soloist, while dancers MAI KAGEYAMA and KRISTÓF SZABÓ joined the coryphées. (pch)
