The exibition is part of a festival of set and costume design 'Stage in Construction', a nationwide event aiming to bring out the connection between architecture and theatre-making. Apart of the exhibition, Lublin will also see performances, concerts, and meetings. A detailed programme is available here (in Polish only).
Opera Fashion is open for viewing from 21 April to 30 June. It brings together items which were originally displayed at three different exhibitions at Opera Gallery in Warsaw: Opera Haute Couture (2014), At the Feet of Opera (2016), and Theatre: It's All on Our Head (2017). Top tailoring, the best designers, chick footwear, and premier fabrics: grand theatre fashion has been admired by the Polish National Opera's audiences for years. Now, it has arrived in Lublin.
