The Polish National Opera celebrated the beginning of the New Year with a carefully curated programme of the most famous arias and ensembles by opera's two geniuses: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Gioacchino Rossini. Often compared with each other, they represented two different styles and aesthetic approaches, still, their works are invariably among the most popular operas the world over. The tour de force of a concert will feature the best known and loved pieces from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni,Idomeneo, re di Creta, as well as Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, L'italiana in Algeri, Mosè in Egitto, and Il signor Bruschino.
